Darwins Frogs… Is it the end of evolution?

A chytrid fungus known as Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis, has recently spread across the world and destroying amphibian populations. This is the first time the fungus has directly affected a well known species called Darwin’s Frog . Normally, the male frog protects its young inside of its mouth until ready to be released into the world. But the baby frog is not safe from the fungus here. Its killing Darwin’s frogs so quickly that they are probable to go extinct. (Read more…)
