Measels Epidemic… in Dolphins?

Numerous dophins have been washing ashore on beaches from New York to Virginia. The cause of this epidemic may be from the disease called morbillivirus. Morbillivirus is similar to measelses. The last case of the disease was present in the year 1987-1988. About 740 animals including dolphins were killed from the disease. There is no official announcement, but scientists have confirmed that some dolphins are carrying the disease. (Read more…)
